This past summer...

So I am definitely new to the blogging world, so do forgive me if you are yawning after the end of this post. This past summer Daley and I lived up in Fort McMurray. We were both pleasantly surprised by the experience. The members up there were great, the ward absolutely awesome, there are some nice facilities, and we meet some new friends! This is the view from our apartment. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms, a big kitchen and en suite washer and dryer... and utilities paid for. This summer we also went to Jasper with Cory and Vanessa McClung. We spent August long weekend there, the weather was nice on the first and last day we were there. Here are some of the pictures of our trip. Starting out the long drive ahead... Our campsite Our first night there we went out for dinner and then walked around a lake that was close by. The water was so clear! Athabasca Falls At the bottom of the falls were all these cool inukshuks, in which we decided to add our mark on Jasper... Some of my favorite random pictures... Overall it was a fun trip. It was nice to spend sometime outside, and with friends. We also were able to go down to Cardston for the last little bit of summer. I finally met my brother-in-law Morley who recently got home from serving a mission in Portland, Oregon. Everyone came up for that, which was nice. We also had an opportunity to take family pictures with everyone. It was definitely a fun week. While I did love summer, it is nice to get back into routine and sleep in my own bed!!!
